We visited our friends Gary & Karoline at their cabin on Galiano Island. After 20 long years of no sightings, we finally saw whales! What an amazing sight. They were so close to us, we could hear them breathing. Bernd and Gary went down to the very bottom of the cliff on Active Pass and Karoline and I were one level up from them.
